The Workforce Innovation Hub
According to the Georgia Department of labor, healthcare, IT and TDL (transportation, distribution, and logistics) are areas of high demand and job growth in Georgia, and will account for a sizeable portion of new jobs created in the state through 2020.
The Workforce Innovation Hub provides vocational training and includes our Good Works Employment Center, which provides job readiness and placement for residents of both housing programs and the Westside at large. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for sustainable career transformation by integrating skills training, mentoring and job placement in a fun innovative setting. Through individualized and holistic assessment, training, and support, we are able to eliminate the unique set of challenges and barriers to attaining employment. 350 individuals will be placed into jobs paying a livable wage by the end of 2018.
