Corporate / Large Groups

We’d love to have your group volunteer on our campus! These opportunities are perfect for corporate, church and school groups.

We currently do not offer group opportunities on the weekends. All group opportunities happen Monday-Friday.

For group or corporate service days, we can have up to 20 people serving at one time in either a morning or afternoon shift. For larger groups, an entire day would be reserved for your group with a morning shift of up to 20 people and an afternoon shift of up to 20 people. The groups could overlap for lunch everyone to eat lunch together. Your group/team would be responsible for providing lunch for your team.

Service shifts are typically limited to 2.5-3 hours depending on the availability of the group. That time frame does include a tour of City of Refuge unless the team specially asks to not have a tour.

Here is an example of what a full service day schedule looks like:

9:30am-10am: Arrival and Tour of City of Refuge

10am-12pm: Morning Service Project (20 people)

12-12:30pm: Team Lunch

12:30-1pm: Tour of City of Refuge

1pm-3pm: Afternoon Service Project (20 people)

The times can be altered if need be but all corporate service days take place Monday-Friday between 9am and 4pm. Lunch doesn’t have to be included.

For the project, our volunteer coordinator will work with your group on picking a project that fits both City of Refuge’s needs and your team's abilities. The exact project your group would be working on is typically decided around 2-3 weeks in advance. Historically the projects have been working with preschoolers, lunch prep, painting, cleaning, organizing, yard work, etc.

Once the dates and times are finalized a calendar link will be sent to your team to register through. Everyone will register individually. Dates and times are first come first serve.

Please reach out to Katie Monson at kmonson@cityofrefugeatl.org with any questions or if you are ready to schedule your group service date!

Thank you to our partnering volunteer groups!
