Being in the business of transformation, you quickly discover that transformation not only takes place for the population you serve, but in your life as well. The ministry we choose to be a part of is a way of life, not just a one time experience.
Kassi McCoy has been the Executive Administrative Assistant at City of Refuge for almost a year. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Lee University. After college, she worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee and as an elementary teacher for two years.
However, when the position at City of Refuge came available, she jumped at the opportunity! As the daughter of Bruce Deel, Kassi literally grew up in this ministry. She keenly remembers when her family lived in the church on 14th Street for six years. She brings an innate connection to the mission with an incomparable willingness to serve.
Kassi is happily married to Matt McCoy, the Director of Operations for the NAPA Auto Training Center.
