City of Refuge is bringing hope and compassion to individuals in need and making a lasting impact in the entire Westside.
As Director of Strategy and Development, Lauren oversees the creation, implementation, and tracking of results-driven development plans and external relation strategies. Working alongside the development team, she acts as an ambassador for City of Refuge and works to build strong relationships with volunteers, donors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
Prior to joining City of Refuge, Lauren has been active in government and non-profit management since graduating from the University of Georgia. She has served as an assistant to a U.S. Senator and U.S. President and held leadership positions in faith-based, community development, and international humanitarian organizations. She also earned an M.B.A from The George Washington University and is a proud resident of the Westside.
